The Academic Committee of the International Transpersonal Congress invites researchers, professionals and students to submit their academic papers for consideration and presentation during the pre-congress, on October 1st and 2nd.
This congress is a celebration of transpersonal thought that integrates science, spirituality and human development, promoting transformative dialogues.
Don’t miss this opportunity to enrich the debates on transpersonal psychology and to share your ideas with a receptive and engaged audience.
We are looking for innovative and relevant papers that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practices in the Transpersonal Approach.

Dra. Vera Pizzichini Saldanha
Psychologist with a PhD in Transpersonal Psychology, author of Transpersonal Didactics and the Transpersonal Integrative Approach (TIA). Founder of the Vera Saldanha Institute and former president of ALUBRAT, she has coordinated courses and events in the field since 1985, in Brazil and abroad. She is the author of several books and articles on Transpersonal Psychology.
Dr. Marlos Alves Bezerra – Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN)
Associate Professor II in the Department of Psychology at UFRN. Coordinator of the Laboratory of Studies in Thanatology and Humanization of Health Practices (LETHS) and member of the Observatory of the Child and Adolescent Population in Contexts of Violence (OBIJUV/UFRN). Founding member of the Brazilian Association for Research and Teaching in Transpersonal Psychology (Abrapet).

Master’s in education (UFPE). Researcher of the Education and Transpersonal Psychology Research Line of the Education and Spirituality Center of PPGEduc UFPE (CNPq). Ms. Alice dos Santos Andrade – Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE)/NEIMFA
Ph.D student at the Center for Education and Spirituality at UFPE, Research Line: Education and Transpersonal Psychology. Coordinator of NEIMFA, Favela do Coque. Psychologist and supervisor of the Being and Transcending Psychological Clinic at NEIMFA. Member of the Scientific Committee of Abrapet.
Esp. Débora Cristina Diógenes Andrade – ABRAPET
A psychologist with 29 years of experience in Transpersonal Psychology, she works at Espaço Renascer (Natal, Rio Grande do Norte). A specialist, founder, and president of institutions in the field, she has coordinated courses since 2002 and lectures in Brazil and abroad. She is currently training at Grof Legacy Training and is active internationally in the field.
Dr. Djailton Pereira da Cunha – Universidade de Pernambuco (UPE)
Professor of the master’s in psychology and the Multiprofessional Residency in Mental Health at UPE. Supervisor and advisor of internships in Transpersonal Perspectives and Schizoanalysis at the UPE School Service and NEIMFA. Coordinator of the Center for Subjectivity Mapping (NUCAS), Scientific Committee of Abrapet, and founding member of the Pernambuco Association of Transpersonal Psychology (APPT). Co-author of the e-book “Kosmos Transpersonal Clinic: Heartening Care in Psychology and Education.”

Dr. Juarez Francisco Da Silva – Instituto Morada das Tradições (SC)
Clinical psychologist with a PhD in Education and a Master’s in Theology and Organizational Development. He works as a consultant, mentor to leaders, and researcher in hermeneutics, complexity, and organizational culture. He is a book author and guides transdisciplinary and transpersonal research, focusing on self-development and therapeutic practices. He is a member of the Instituto Morada das Tradições.
Esp. Luiz Carlos Garcia
Psychologist and human resources executive at several national and multinational organizations. He studied Basic Holistic Training, whose masterpiece was the First UNIPAZ/ALUBRAT International Congress in Águas de Lindoia. He co-managed eleven International Congresses on Transpersonal Psychology in Brazil and Portugal. He co-founded ALUBRAT and UNIPAZ São Paulo. He teaches postgraduate courses at the University of São Francisco, ALUBRAT, and the Tadashi Kadomoto Institute.
Dr. Luiz Eduardo Valiengo Berni – CETRANS
Researcher at the Transdisciplinary Research Studio (APTD), São Paulo Center for Epistemological Diversity. Founding member of the Center for Transdisciplinary Education (CETRANS). Member of the International Center for Transdisciplinary Research and Studies (CIRET). PhD in Psychology from the Institute of Psychology of the University of São Paulo (IPUSP).
Ms. Manoel José Pereira Simão – Universidade de São Paulo (USP)
Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of São Paulo (USP), specializing in Transpersonal Psychology, Transdisciplinarity, and Health. Coordinator of the postgraduate program in Transpersonal Psychology at the Vera Saldanha Institute. Co-founder of Unipaz SP and founding member of Proser (HC-FMUSP). He works as a professor and counselor at institutions focused on spirituality and holistic health.
Dra. Maria Carolina Souto de Vasconcelos – Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE)
Ph.D in Education with the thesis: “Heartbreaking the Transpersonal Perspective: feeling thinking (on) the periphery of human transformation.” Substitute professor in the Department of Psychology, Inclusion and Education at UFPE. Member of the Scientific Committee of Abrapet. Psychologist at the Ser Psychological Clinic and Trpsychologist at NEIMFA, Favela do Coque.
Dra. Nadia Rocha Veriguine – Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)
She holds a postdoctoral degree in Engineering and Knowledge Management from UFSC, a PhD in Psychology, and specializes in Transpersonal Psychology. She has been a professor at IFC since 2012, working in research and integrative practices on trauma, spirituality, and neurodivergence. She is the author and editor of publications in this field, focusing on human flourishing.

Senior Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP). Researcher at Paulista University (UNIP). Advisor in the Graduate Program in Latin American Integration – USP. Dr. Silas Carlos Rocha da Silva – Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE)
Adjunct Professor in the Department of Education at Federal University of Pernambuco (UFRPE). A researcher at the Center for Education and Spirituality (CNPq), he conducts research focusing on human development and its interface with Buddhist Philosophy and Educational Psychology. He coordinates outreach initiatives aimed at reactivating contemplative dimension within civil society organizations. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of Abrapet.
Dra. Silvia Helena Rigatto – Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA)
Associate Professor in the Law Department at UFLA. Graduated from the Transpersonal Kosmos Clinic (Abrapet/Unipaz). She has experience in Human Rights, Minority Rights, Urban Law, Children’s and Adolescents’ Rights, Social Media and Privacy, and Restorative Justice. Member of Abrapet’s Scientific Committee.
